thumbnail_imageThe Pittsburgh Dietetic Association (PDA) is the professional organization of registered dietitians (RDs) and dietetic technicians, registered (DTRs).
As the advocate of RDs and DTRs, PDA strives to promote optimal nutrition, health, and well-being of the citizens of the Pittsburgh area. The members of the Pittsburgh Dietetic Association are recognized as the experts in the field of food and nutrition by the public as well as by government, business, industry, and health professionals.

The Pittsburgh Dietetic Association is committed to proactively provide direction and support to its members to assure quality practice, education and research in order to serve the public. The Pittsburgh Dietetic Association also assumes a leadership role in influencing public policy and legislation.

Members of the Pittsburgh Dietetic Association work in a variety of settings. These include, but are not limited to, hospitals and clinics, public health, long-term care facilities, food service, private practice, schools, universities, research centers, pharmaceutical companies, and health and fitness centers.

Members are board certified professionals trained in the field of food and nutrition and are recognized as the experts in food and nutrition in Pittsburgh area.
